  • Thermoelectric detector cooling system with temperature control

Thermoelectric cooler is designed for temperature control of radiation detectors of various types. The application of the cooler stabilizes detector parameters, reduces the electric noise. The cooler set consist of two blocks: Thermoelectric cooler TC-704 and POWER SUPPLY & TEMPERATURE CONTROLLER unit CTC-1. The detector is placed in a copper heat exchanger which is connected to the battery of thermoelectric modules. Thermocool-704 uses vacuum isolation to prevent the external heat flow. The heat power induced by thermoelectric modules is removed by a system of ventilators.

The POWER SUPPLY & TEMPERATURE CONTROLLER CTC-1 consists of power supply, a changer “voltage current”, temperature controller and digital indicator unit. The temperature controller stabilizes the detector temperature which can be set on the front panel of the device.

The indicator displays set-up temperature, actual temperature and an actual current value which flows through thermoelectric modules. The actual dimensions of detectors to be used should be given during the ordering procedure.
