The cryostat CryoMagn 1-40-12 with superconducting magnet designed for physical investigations in magnetic field up to 12 T at 4.2 K and temperature region 0.3 - 300 K has extremely low helium consumption. The typical applications are the studies of the Hall effect, superconductivity, magneto-optics, spectroscopy and others.

The proposed design suggests location of the superconducting magnet in a completely welded cryostat. Small opening for inserts is compatible with the magnet bore. This minimizes the heat flow from the top flange to the helium reservoir. The copper shield attached to the bottom of the nitrogen reservoir and cooled by liquid nitrogen hangs over the cryostat to its bottom.

The shielding reduces the helium boil-off and optimizes the consumption of cryogenic liquids. The built-in liquid helium level gauge and removable liquid helium transfer line provide the helium level monitoring and filling services.

The highly reliable superconducting solenoid with attachable copper or HTSC current leads is built by multifilament wire based on NbTi or Nb3Sn superconductors. The resistor/diode protection circuit secures the safety use of the superconducting solenoid. As an option, we supply a superconducting switch to maintain the superconducting short-cut regime and the electrical power supply for solenoid.

Liquid nitrogen storage system CryoStor102 is designed for cryopreservation of pre-cooled biologic samples of various types. The system guaranties a long-term storage of samples at liquid nitrogen temperature -196 °C. The system set consists of a number of liquid nitrogen tanks with 35 - 500 L capacity and a level controller unit. The controller block enables the monitoring of the liquid nitrogen level and samples temperature, as well as the connection of automatic filling system.

The pre-cooled samples are placed in reservoirs in racks. Each reservoir is equipped by a LN level measuring head. The LN control system gives alarm signal when the LN level is less then 30% of maximal value. After the alarm signal the automatic filling system starts. The controller unit can be connected to the computer using the RS-232 interface. The controller unit enables operation up to 8 liquid nitrogen storage reservoirs.
